Myspace connect with Facebook

As of yesterday, social network giant Facebook decided to take pity on Myspace by ‘mashing’ up with them.

In fact this is not a mashup more of a lending hand from Facebook to Myspace. Is this just Facebooks way of exposing Myspace’s desperate attempts of regaining and retaining former users? In the jungle that is social networking, it is in fact survival of the fittest. It still means other networking sites can co-exist among one another. What Myspace has failed to do was adapt and evolve away from what Facebook has accomplished and still is accomplishing.

This was possibly the lowest news Myspace had to offer since Tom Anderson sold the company. If you really want to know what this mashup is really all about:

To mashup Facebook and Myspace log into Facebook from your MySpace account. Allow MySpace to access your Facebook information, then you will see the Likes and interests that you’ve clicked on Facebook, and you can choose which you want to add to your MySpace home page, giving you a feed of the stuff you enjoy.
